The former method to collect statistics was based on access to engineering port in Baseline Correlator. Although results obtained from engineering port are accurate and fast, it requires to have authorized personnel to access that particular port. In order to overcome this situation, a solution was provided to retrieve these statistics outside low-level engineering tools. The implementation takes care to open a \ac{CAN} link to the \ac{SCC} and request statistics data from a defined \ac{TFB}.
