Delay Events Processor

In the study of consistency problems in the application of delays from the \ac{ALMA} control subsystem to the antenna’s digitizer clock, a script was suggested to aid the processing of such delay events. The Python-based tool performs file searches in the delay server in order to find the most suitable registry which holds delay information for a specific period of time, in addition, if the registry is not found in the delay server, the tool is able to fetch it from the delay archive, where data is stored as compressed files. The time stamp information for this tool to work can be entered directly using \ac{ALMA} standard time format or by using specific observation’s \ac{UID} and scans, where information is meant to be processed. The delay information inside the registry is coded, therefore, the script besides retrieving delay information, it decodes the time-stamp and presents it in a single column, which is later saved in a single result file, providing a suitable way to process this output information in Excel at a later stage, allowing to relate time-stamp and delay information in a graphical manner.
